The Israeli navy has imposed sanctions on several of its men who had taken photographs of themselves naked on a war vessel, a military source said Monday.
One of the sailors was sentenced to two weeks in prison and the others were banned from leaving their quarters for two weeks.
The nudists hit the headlines when they posed naked on a Dabur-type patrol boat during a military outing.
The photo was published three weeks ago by the daily newspaper Maariv and has since been posted on several pornographic Web sites -- JERUSALEM (AFP)
