The Israeli police said Tuesday that they had prevented a suicide bombing in Beer Sheva, the major city in the southern part of Israel.
According to an Israel Radio report, the security services got a tip on Monday about the planned attack and arrested a Palestinian on Tuesday.
The Palestinian allegedly admitted that his task was to bring the bomber to a crowded site in the city.
He led the police to the hiding place of the bomber, according to the report.
