ALBAWABA - In a recent development, Israeli media reports confirm that the military has initiated a large-scale operation to eliminate Hamas tunnels in the areas under control in Gaza. Shortly after this news broke, the Israeli occupation army shared footage of the moment Hamas tunnels in Gaza were struck.

Responding to Hamas' "Aqsa Tempest" operation, which began on October 7, and the subsequent 28 days of Israeli occupation airstrikes in Gaza, the Israeli occupation army has now commenced an operation to target the Hamas tunnels, which represent their biggest concern in a potential ground offensive. These tunnels are being bombarded with explosives. The Israeli occupation army has released video footage depicting the intense attacks on the tunnels.

A senior officer from the Southern Command confirmed the operation and stated, "Following the area's control, an engineering operation has begun. We will destroy all the tunnels; this will become a death zone. They chose to be in a place where they cannot escape; they will all die in these tunnels."

Qassam Brigades Target Israeli Occupation Forces in Recent Operations

In a recent series of actions, the Qassam Brigades have launched various operations against Israeli occupation forces in Gaza. These operations include using heavy-caliber mortar shells to strike a gathering of infiltrated vehicles in the western area of "Erez," targeting a bulldozer and an armored personnel carrier with RPG rockets and Yasin 105 shells in the northwest axis of Gaza City last night, sniping a soldier in northern Beit Hanoun, attacking a fortified Israeli occupation force in a building in northern Beit Hanoun with 5 "TBG" shells, engaging in a close-quarters confrontation with Israeli occupation forces on foot in western "Erez," launching an attack on a vehicle with a "Yasin 105" shell in the American area in the northwest of Beit Lahia, and shelling a gathering of vehicles in the west of "Erez" with heavy-caliber mortar shells. The situation in Gaza remains highly volatile as these operations continue.
