ALBAWABA - In a significant turn of events, an Israeli military official has publicly admitted to the occurrence of civilian casualties during the recent assault on the Megazi Refugee Camp. The admission marks a departure from Israel's previous stance and sheds light on the complexities of the ongoing conflict.

Speaking on behalf of the Israeli government, spokesperson Eylon Levy acknowledged a mistake in the choice of munitions, which, according to military sources, led to unintended civilian deaths. Levy stated, "Our military spokesperson, in an interview on Israeli TV, revealed that incorrect munitions were employed in this specific attack.

It is evident that an error occurred in the course of the conflict. We are learning from this experience. This was an unfortunate mistake, and it should not have transpired. The selection of munitions was misguided. We find ourselves in a unique counter-terrorism effort, navigating an exceptionally intricate battlefield unlike any in world history. Mistakes, unfortunately, are inevitable."
