ALBAWABA - After a brutal night in the West Bank as Israeli Forces executed a number of raids across refugee camps including Jenin and Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho, where one young Palestinian was shot in the head and later succumbed to his wounds.
Israeli special forces stormed the Aqabat Jabr camp to carry out detention operations, where confrontations broke out with Palestinian youths, which led to at least one being injured by live bullets and causing cases of suffocation, WAFA reported.
According to the Red Crescent, a young man, Dhargham Muhammad Yahya Al-Akhras, who was shot in the head with live bullets was brought to Jericho Hospital after the Israeli troops stormed the camp, where his injury was reported to be serious.
As a result of his severe wounds, the medical team later declared him dead.
Since the beginning of the year, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli troops in the Jericho district has risen to 13.
Meanwhile, the occupying forces sent reinforcements to the camp, where they conducted a large campaign of raids and incursions into dozens of homes, searching and ransacking their belongings and subjecting their people to field investigations.
During the invasion of the camp, the occupying soldiers detained two Palestinians from their homes.
Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli Forces stormed the Jenin camp in the West Bank resulting in the killing of 4 Palestinians at least and injuring around 30 varying between mild and serious injuries.
Local media reported that a large army force stormed the camp and besieged two houses, shooting rockets at them. A drone was also used in the attack against the Palestinian gunmen as armed clashes broke out during the raid.
