Israeli army launches surprise operation in central Gaza Strip

ALBAWABA-After the unexpected withdrawal of the majority of combat units from Gaza last week, Israeli army Radio reported that the Israeli military commenced a sudden military operation on the outskirts of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. 

The operation, led by the 162nd Division, includes airstrikes targeting terrorist hideouts both above and below ground. The military action is being conducted with precise intelligence guidance. 

Israeli artillery conducted heavy shelling and carried out intense raids on the northern outskirts of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip. and claimed that their forces found rocket launching pads during the operation. 

Notably, the Israeli army claimed responsibility for the assassination of three sons of Hamas Political Bureau chairmen and former Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh, and several of his grandsons in Gaza last night.
