Israel’s security authorities released on Monday night three kidnapped members of the Palestinians presidential guards unit, Force 17, said Israeli reports.
The three were among six kidnapped on Sunday by an Israeli undercover unit, Duvedan, in the Palestinian-controlled West Bank city of Ramallah for allegedly taking part in anti-Israeli attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers.
Citing Israel Radio, The Jerusalem Post newspaper said that the three were found to not have been involved in the activities and were released after long questioning.
In a retaliatory Palestinian response, an Israeli soldier was killed Sunday night in an exchange of fire near a village in the West Bank city of Nablus – Albawaba.com
