The Israeli army has detained eleven Palestinians in raids in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem overnight, a Palestinian NGO said Wednesday.
The Palestinian Prisoners Society said in a statement that Israeli forces had detained seven youths, aged between 14 and 17, during raids in the southern West Bank province of Hebron.
Four more Palestinians were detained in raids in occupied East Jerusalem, the Palestinian NGO which monitors Israeli detention campaigns said.
The Israeli army has yet to comment on the reported detentions.
Israeli forces routinely conduct arrest campaigns against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank on claims they are "wanted" by Israeli authorities.
Over 7,000 Palestinians are currently languishing in Israeli prisons, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Prisoners' Affairs.
