ALBAWABA - The Ramat Gan municipality in Tel Aviv decided on Thursday to open shelters amid fears of missile attacks from Iran,
This comes amid escalating tension between the United States and Iran and exchanged strikes between the two countries despite the agreement which was reached earlier.
"We decided to open all the bomb shelters in the city," the mayor of Ramat Gan said, according to the Israeli newspaper Maariv.
The mayor added, "Assessments indicate that the risk of missile attacks from Iran over the weekend has increased and can no longer be ignored."

Earlier, Israel's Channel 13 reported that "Tel Aviv is closely monitoring the escalation between the United States and Iran and is preparing for the possibility of a wider war."
Tehran is now targeting American military bases and assets in the Gulf and Jordan in response to American airstrikes across the country.
Washington said it reattacked Iran after the latter's strikes on multiple ships in the Strait of Hormuz, which was reclosed by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) after the latest escalation that started 11 days ago.
