Israel kills Alireza Tangsiri, responsible for the Strait of Hormuz closure

ALBAWABA - The Israeli army announced the killing of Iranian naval official Alireza Tangsiri, who is the main person behind the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

Israeli Channel 12 reported on Thursday that the army assassinated the commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's naval forces, Alireza Tangsiri.

Alireza Tangsiri has headed the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy since 2018 and played a key role in the closure of the Strait of Hormuz after the latest war.
