ALBAWABA - The Gaza Health Ministry said Sunday that Israel has killed 146 physicians of various areas of expertise in Gaza.

Commemorating the latest Israeli brutal aggression on Gaza, the Ministry of Health added that, due to the relentless heavy bombardment of various areas of the strip, most medications and medical supplies have been depleted as a result of the Israeli military's genocide in the territory.

In a statement commemorating one year after the beginning of the Israeli genocide, the ministry stated that 83% of medical supplies and 60% of drugs are unavailable in hospitals and health clinics.

Since October 7th, 2023, Israel has shut off electricity to Gaza and barred the entry of fuel to run its single power plant, as well as cutting water supply, communication, food, and medical supplies, and blocking borders.

Since the beginning of the brutal Israeli aggression, Israel has prohibited the entry of humanitarian, medical, and fuel help, allowing only a small amount for foreign organizations, which does not fulfill the requirements of the local population.

Despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate cease-fire, Israel has resumed its savage bombardment of the Gaza Strip in response to an attack by the Palestinian organization Hamas on October 7.

Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel

Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.

Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip and captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.

In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

The latest statistics by the Ministry of Health in Gaza revealed that the death toll from Israeli brutal pounding on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has soared to 41,870+ people, with more than 97,166+ injuries.

Since then, approximately 85% of Gazans have been displaced, all of whom are suffering from severe food insecurity, and the healthcare system has collapsed. Hundreds of thousands of people lack shelter, and aid trucks are entering the area at a lower rate than before the conflict began.
