Israel fears may need to further compromise following Gaza pull-out

The sources are reported to have added Israel now wants to guarantee its borders are not pushed aside further after the disengagement and would not, therefore, forego military presence in Ghour Jordan and some West Bank areas even in the event of reaching a peace settlement.
