ALBAWABA - The Israeli army has just announced that the air forces will carry out airstrike on some areas in the Middle East tonight as a response to the Iranian ballistic missile attack on Tel Aviv, Ynet reported.
Iran launched on Tuesday evening a wave of over 180 missiles targeting Israel in revenge for the killings of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
The Israeli army said that Iranian missiles had reached Jerusalem, prompting air raid sirens to blare throughout the city and surrounding regions.
The strikes occurred shortly after the US made a warning to Israel, indicating that Iran was preparing for a missile attack within 12 hours.
Israel called millions of settlers to shelter in bunkers and safe zones during the attack as Israel's war cabinet held a meeting underground.
The Iranian missiles were also intercepted over Jordan and Syria as photos and videos went viral online.
