ALBAWABA - Israeli waplanes targeted Aleppo International Airport in Syria early Tuesday, Syrian state media revealed.
The Syrian Arab News Agency SANA said that the airport went off operation and was shut down due to the Israeli airstrike.

According to a military source, the attack was carried out by the Israeli forces at 2:07 a.m. Tuesday.
The source maintained that the attack was launched from the Mediterranean Sea, west of the coast of Latakia in western Syria, targeting Aleppo International Airport. Material damage was reported, but no estimates were provided.
