Syrian refugees have allegedly raised the black ISIS flag in the northeastern border town of Arsal, in protest over the army's crackdown on a nearby camp earlier that day, the National News Agency reported Thursday.
The flag was raised in front of the Arsal Municipality building, according to the NNA.
Earlier Thursday, the Lebanese army arrested three men suspected of burning a Syrian refugee camp in Arsal during a raid on a nearby camp in search of militants accused of collaborating with extremist groups during last month's clashes in the northeastern town.
Meanwhile, the army has detained about 450 suspected Islamist militants near Arsal, Lebanese security sources told Reuters Thursday.
