Israeli authorities report more than 200 casualties from missile barrages targeting military installations, airfields and urban areas. Ben Gurion Airport was temporarily closed after a report of runway damage.

ALBAWABA- Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced Monday that it had targeted the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv, as well as the location of the Israeli Air Force commander, during the 10th wave of its “True Promise 4” operation.

In a statement published on its official Telegram channel, the IRGC said the strikes were carried out using Kheybar Shekan ballistic missiles and described them as “targeted and surprise attacks.” The status of Netanyahu remained unclear, with Israeli authorities not confirming whether he was present at the time. No official casualty figures were immediately released.

Videos circulating on social media showed explosions in central Tel Aviv, triggering evacuations and heightened nationwide security alerts. Israeli officials said air defense systems were activated but did not provide detailed damage assessments.

The latest escalation follows the Saturday joint U.S.–Israeli airstrikes in Tehran that killed Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and more than 40 senior officials, including top military commanders.

Tehran condemned the operation as a “provocative” attempt at regime change. U.S. President Donald Trump and Netanyahu defended the strikes as necessary to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions and regional proxy activities.

Iran’s retaliatory campaign has since expanded across Israel and the Gulf. Israeli authorities report more than 200 casualties from missile barrages targeting military installations, airfields and urban areas. Ben Gurion Airport was temporarily closed after a report of runway damage.

Across the Gulf, Iranian missiles and drones have struck U.S. military facilities in Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman, causing at least 50 injuries, power disruptions in Doha and limited damage to Saudi Arabia’s Ras Tanura refinery.

Gulf Cooperation Council states condemned the strikes and pledged collective defense measures, while the United Nations Security Council called for immediate de-escalation amid mounting fears of a prolonged regional war.
