Iraqi medical and security officials have said that attacks in Sunni-majority areas of Baghdad and outside the capital left nine people dead and more than 20 others wounded.
AFP reports that the deadliest attack was in Abu Ghraib (west of Baghdad), where two people were killed in a roadside bomb. In addition, a magnetic “sticky bomb” attached to a car in the Baghdad neighborhood of Adhamiyah killed a policeman.
