ALBAWABA - Iranian authorities confirmed the death of over 50 people following the huge explosion that took place in the southern port of Shahid Rajaee, local media reported on Tuesday.

The spokesperson of the Iranian government, Fatemeh Mohajerani, confirmed that 57 people were killed and 1581 others were injured following the strong explosion that occurred in Shahid Rajaee port.

In addition, the spokesperson also noted that 11 people are still missing in the blast that took place on April 26.
