Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday that a government elected by people cannot be alien to them, or distance itself from people or behave them harshly.
Speaking in special session to recieve a vote of confidence to members of his cabinet by Majlis, he said that the government should be sympathetic with people and should work hard to remove their difficulties rather than remain only a kind advisor. According to IRNA, he said that people are dissatisfied with complicate bureaucracy.
Iran should reform the bureaucratic system to speed up process of doing its jobs, he said.
President Ahmadinejad added that a mechanisms should be adopted to reinforce solidarity adding that national solidarity needs "love and affection" and avoiding jealousy or immoral practices to create obstacles in the way of the government.
"Respecting citizenship rights has direct relationship with kind communication. So, promoting culture of kindness is a major policy for the government and is a principle," President Ahmadinejad said.
He stressed that the government will give priority to services which can benefit more population, citing transport service in large cities adding that if such difficulties were not be removed, they may turn to crises in the future and a large portion of national energy will be consumed for such a purpose.
