Iranian president: Domestic nuclear critics are ”traitors”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday said, "If domestic agents do not abandon their pressures regarding nuclear issues, they will be introduced to the Iranian nation."

According to IRNA, the Iranian leader made the remark while addressing students, professors and officials of Iran University of Science and Technology in eastern Tehran. "They are traitors. We, due to our commitment to the nation, will not cave in and we will not remain onlookers," he emphasized.

He added "The Iranian nation will not let offenders be saved from the nation's revenge by certain individuals wielding political and economic influence."

Due to some sensitivities, no measure will be taken, but after settlement of the nuclear issue, the nation will be briefed about everything in a student gathering, the Iranian president vowed.

According to him, Iran's nuclear victory should not be neglected as it has "reached a sensitive point today."

He compared the issue to the nationalization of Iran's oil industry in 1951 and said, "Iran's nuclear issue is 100 times as important as oil nationalization and we should not neglect it until we reach the final conclusion."  "Ill-wishers of the Iranian nation are trying today to get even a small concession from this nation," Ahmadinejad said.
