Iran’s deputy minister of justice for parliamentary affairs said Wednesday that the revival of prosecutor's offices was not enough to solve the judicial problems facing the people, the Tehran Times reported.
He said that countries with “an efficient judiciary” had 15 to 17 judges for every 100,000 people, while “Iran stands at 12 to 14 for every 100,000 people."
The official was quoted by the daily as saying that the shortage of judges was causing dragged-out legal proceedings – Albawaba.com
