A young Iranian has admitted to murdering 47 truck drivers throughout his homeland, a press report said Wednesday.
The daily Jam-e Jam was quoted by the official Iranian news agency, IRNA, as saying the convict was arrested five months ago in the central city of Isfahan and has since been held in temporary confinement.
The driver, whose identity was not given by the paper, murdered the drivers mostly in the capital Tehran, Isfahan, and southern cities of Shiraz and Bandar Abbas, the daily reported.
The convict has been transferred to Tehran to undergo a deep investigation of his confessions by a special police task force, the report said – Albawaba.com
