Advisor to Fars province governor general for cultural affairs and head of Iranology Foundation, Kourosh Kamali Sarvestani, on Monday said that the visiting group of French poets are expected to arrive in Shiraz Monday evening.
According to him, the visit aims at expanding Iranian-French cultural ties. He added that a cultural performance will be presented at Hafezieh, the mausoleum of the prominent Iranian lyricist (Hafez). "The group of French poets is being accompanied by a number of poets from Tehran, Isfahan, Shahr-e Kord, Shiraz and Firouzabad, <i>IRNA</I> reported.
