ALBAWABA- Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has warned of a potential confrontation with the United States, cautioning against negotiations with Washington.

Major General Majid Khadami, head of the IRGC’s Intelligence Protection Organization, accused President Donald Trump of using deception in talks, claiming his real objective is to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program, missile systems, and conventional weapons.

While Trump recently stated in a Fox News interview that he prefers a nuclear agreement over military action, he also suggested that Iran is “panicked” and eager to negotiate.

He dismissed speculation about Israel attacking Iran with U.S. backing, asserting that diplomacy is his preferred path.

However, Khadami insisted that negotiations with the U.S. cross Iran’s red line, emphasizing that any dialogue must be "intelligent, honorable, and rational."

In a direct warning to Washington, he declared that if the U.S. threatens Iran, Tehran will retaliate forcefully, putting American interests at risk worldwide.

Despite the heightened rhetoric, Trump maintained that Iran is desperate for a deal to avoid military strikes, signaling ongoing uncertainty in U.S.-Iran relations.
