ALBAWABA- In a heated speech before the Knesset, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that Israel is reshaping the Middle East and vowed that the ongoing war is far from over.

Netanyahu emphasized the significance of his recent meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump, calling it the most critical discussion he has had with any American leader in over two decades.

He stated that U.S.-Israel cooperation is stronger than ever, with both nations aligning on key Middle East policies.

He revealed that Trump had presented a clear strategy for the future of Gaza—one that ensures Hamas will never return to power. Netanyahu confirmed that he is working closely with the U.S. on a new vision for Gaza, excluding both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority.

The Israeli prime minister also outlined his administration’s broader military goals, including dismantling Hamas's missile capabilities, breaking Iran’s regional influence, and eliminating the Radwan Force.

He claimed that the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah significantly weakened the so-called "axis of evil" and ultimately led to the fall of Syria’s Bashar al-Assad, allowing Israel to secure the Golan Heights.

Netanyahu asserted that Israel will achieve a “decisive victory” and admitted that his government did not notify Washington before striking Hezbollah targets in Lebanon or before assassinating Nasrallah.

He praised Trump for reaffirming his commitment to preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons and guaranteeing Israel’s security.

Netanyahu’s speech was met with fierce opposition within the Knesset. Several lawmakers accused him of neglecting Israeli hostages and attempting to derail ceasefire negotiations.

Some Knesset members boycotted his speech entirely, blaming him for the events of October 7. The Knesset Speaker even warned dissenting MKs of possible expulsion.

Netanyahu’s remarks came just few daya after his visit to Washington, where Trump proposed a controversial plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza and turn the territory into a business hub for U.S. companies.

The proposal sparked global outrage, with critics condemning it as an endorsement of ethnic cleansing and a continuation of Israeli aggression against Palestinians on their own land.
