ALBAWABA- The US Central Command confirmed that one of three additional fighter squadrons, including F-15E, F-16, and A-10 aircraft, is arriving in the region amid rising tensions. 

According to Israeli officials quoted by the New York Times, Iran is preparing a missile and drone attack targeting Israel. 

A US official told Reuters that the potential Iranian strike could be as significant as the April attack.

According to US military sources cited by the New York Times, the anticipated Iranian ballistic missile attack is expected within the next 12 hours. 

Israeli officials report that Iran plans to target three military air bases and an intelligence headquarters north of Tel Aviv, which has already been evacuated.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant, Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, and top military leaders, including Major General Shlomi Bender and Brigadier General Ofir Mizrahi-Rozin, are currently assessing the evolving situation.

The US Embassy in Jerusalem has issued a shelter-in-place order for all government employees and their families due to ongoing security threats in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza. 

US citizens in the region are urged to remain vigilant, avoid large gatherings, and follow local authorities' guidance. The embassy advises checking the latest travel advisories and enrolling in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) for real-time updates.
