ALBAWABA - During the 12-day war between Israel and Iran, Tel Aviv attacks killed several Iranian military commanders and scientists who were working on Tehran's nuclear program.
Iran announced that state funerals for military commanders and top scientists killed on Saturday, June 28, Iranian media reported.
"The national funeral ceremony for... commanders and scientists martyred in the Zionist regime's aggression will be held on Saturday from 8:00 am (0430 GMT)" in Tehran, IRNA said on Wednesday.
IRNA further mentioned that Hossein Salami, the Revolutionary Guards chief killed by Israel on the war's first day [June 13], will be buried on Thursday in central Iran.
Israel carried out an attack on Friday, June 13, against Iranian nuclear and military sites, leading to the death of major military men, including Salami.
Moreover, during the 12-day war between Tehran and Tel Aviv, the Iranian health ministry said at least 610 civilians were killed and more than 4,700 were injured.
On the other hand, in Israel, Iranian missiles killed 28 people, according to official figures.
