ALBAWABA - Oil prices decreased by over 5 percent on Tuesday following Israel's announcement that it had agreed to US President Donald Trump's proposal for a ceasefire with Iran.
AFP reported that at around 0640 GMT, Brent fell 5.0 percent at $67.93 per barrel, while the main US crude contract WTI was 5.1 percent lower at $65.01 per barrel.
Moreover, Gold fell to its lowest level in nearly two weeks following the Iran and Israel ceasefire deal proposed by Trump on Tuesday to end the 12-day conflict.
Gold fell by 0.6 percent to $3,349.89 per ounce by 00:30 GMT, after hitting its lowest level since June 11.
