Iran has never said it would not talk over its peaceful nuclear activities, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini said on Sunday. "We are ready to hold talks with Europe about issues such as nuclear disarmament and economic cooperation with Europeans," Hosseini stressed, according to IRNA.

As for the possibility of Tehran's talks with the Group 5+1 member states over Iran's peaceful nuclear issue, the Iranian official said talks held between the two sides had led to formulation of the Modality Plan and the plan has come to an end. Hosseini added that the outstanding issues about Iran's peaceful nuclear activities were resolved, citing February 22 report of IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei, and that Iranian nuclear program has turned to "routine" at the UN nuclear agency.
