Full leg, heart in a jar: Man collects HUMAN BODY parts from graves, hospital for food

ALBAWABA - The police have arrested a man in Hungary after he was caught collecting human body parts from graves and from a hospital where he works.

According to media outlets, the Hungarian police detained the 30-year-old man, who investigators say stole human body parts from abandoned cemeteries and from his workplace at a hospital, in Budapest.

The country's National Bureau of Investigation said it made the arrest on June 17 after being informed that he had been collecting and keeping human body parts. 

The Associated Press reported, citing the police, which clarified the suspect is employed as an orderly at a hospital.

According to a statement by the police on Tuesday, authorities in Hungary found skulls, a complete lower leg and a hand, as well as a reconstruction of a human face prepared from facial skin. 

A [human or animal] heart was also found inside a jar during the police raid. It added that other bones were seized from a suitcase.

The person confirmed collecting human body parts and revealed that he had prepared food.
