ALBAWABA- Iran has launched a retaliatory missile barrage on Israel, triggering air raid sirens across northern parts of the country, including the occupied al-Jalil region, Lake Tiberias (Tabarayya), and the Haifa coastline.

Israeli military sources confirm that around 10 missiles were fired from Iran, with explosions reported in Haifa and Haifa Bay. One projectile reportedly caused a fire after landing in an open area.

Iranian media claims the strikes targeted ammunition depots, radar stations, and intelligence facilities in Haifa, “Greater Tel Aviv,” and the Negev Desert in the south. Security analysts expect more small salvos to follow in the coming hours.

The IDF says its air force is actively intercepting threats but acknowledges that its defense system is not impenetrable. It urges civilians to follow Home Front Command instructions.

Simultaneously, Israeli airstrikes targeted nuclear facilities in Isfahan, prompting Iran’s air defenses to activate in the area. Tehran has warned both the United States and other Israeli allies that any further violations of Iranian red lines could escalate the confrontation.

Amid the exchange, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told ABC News he does not rule out the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. “We will do what we must do,” Netanyahu stated, adding that such an act would “end Iran” rather than escalate the war.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei condemned Israel’s earlier strike on Iran’s state TV headquarters during a live broadcast, calling it a “wicked act” and a “war crime.”

He urged the UN Security Council to take immediate action to stop what he called “genocidal aggression” against the Iranian people.
