Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Sunday his re-election was "real and free" and cannot be questioned. He made these comments during a press conference in Tehran. He dismissed claims of frad, saying his rivals speak on votes they expected to get, without knowing the real stances of the Iranian voters.
Ahmadinejad accused foreign media of launching a "psychological war against" against the country. He also said the Iranian people won on Friday and not him.
Regarding Iran's nuclear plan, the president said the talk about freezing it "belongs to the past".
Meanwhile, Iranian police again clashed on Sunday with demonstrators protesting in Tehran against the re-election of Ahmadinejad. Supporters of defeated Mirhossein Mousavi gathered in the city centre, chanted his name and threw stones at police, Reuters reported.
Police on motorcycles drove through the crowd to disperse the protesters. At least one person, a woman, was wounded.
