Earthquake tremors were felt by UAE residents late Sunday night.
As a 4.8 magnitude quake shook south of Iran at 2:04am (UAE time) on March 16 - slight tremors were felt in parts of the UAE, according to the national Met department (NCM).
The tremors did not effect the country, NCM added in the statement.
