International outcry over Israeli massacre in Gaza

US State Department expressed deep concern over the miserable conditions in Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need for a temporary ceasefire to alleviate Palestinian suffering.

ALBAWABA- Colombian President, Gustavo Petro, strongly condemned Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's actions, likening the killing of over 100 Palestinians seeking food to genocide and drawing parallels to the Holocaust. 

He called for global recognition of the ongoing genocide in Gaza. 

Meanwhile, the US State Department expressed deep concern over the miserable conditions in Gaza, emphasizing the urgent need for a temporary ceasefire to alleviate Palestinian suffering.

 The department also called for an investigation into the events and demanded the opening of a crossing into northern Gaza to ensure the delivery of aid. 

Italian Prime Minister echoed Petro's sentiments, expressing horror and shock over the tragic news from Gaza and calling for intensified efforts to cease fire and recover hostages. 

In a similar vein, an Algerian envoy to the UN Security Council urged for an immediate meeting to discuss the latest Israeli massacres in Gaza. 

The international outcry follows a heinous massacre perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces, resulting in the death of 112 Palestinians and leaving around 800 wounded as they sought aid from humanitarian trucks.
