ALBAWABA - The Gaza Ministry of Health revised the number of deaths in Israeli attacks on people gathering near aid trucks at the Al Rasheed roundabout to 104 people and 760 others injured.
Israeli army announced opening an investigation into the attack on aid trucks which killed hundreds of Palestinians.
Earlier, authorities in the Gaza Strip revealed that at least 70 were killed, and over 250 others injured in a new Israeli massacre in the Al Rasheed roundabout in Gaza City.
Death toll in the latest Israeli attack on Gaza City varied as Quds News Network reported that at least 150 were killed, while 1,000 others were injured, adding that Israeli snipers were "targeting anyone who attempted to reach flour bags and continue to target those who try to reach casualties."
Government media in Gaza announced that the attack was carried out by Israeli forces in the southwest of Gaza City against Palestinians who went to the area to get humanitarian aid.
The media office in Gaza maintained that the Israeli army knew that people were going for aid and food, but decided to carry out the attack, Al Jazeera reported on Thursday. It also called on the world, Arab and Islamic countries to intervene immediately to halt the "genocidal war" against the Palestinians in Gaza.
This comes hours after the Ministry of Health's announcement that the death toll in the city surpassed 30,000 since Oct. 7.
Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel
Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.
Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip, captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.
In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.
The latest statistics by the Ministry of Health in Gaza revealed that the death toll from Israeli brutal pounding on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has soared to 30,000+ people, with more than 70,043 injuries.
Since then, approximately 85% of Gazans have been displaced, all of whom are suffering from severe food insecurity, and the healthcare system has collapsed. Hundreds of thousands of people lack shelter, and aid trucks are entering the area at a lower rate than before the conflict began.
