Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Minister of Finance and Industry, approved Sunday Dhs 15.1 million in compensations to industrial landowners who have lost their lands due to development of Dubai airport road along those lands. Eight companies will benefit from this compensation. Qasim Sultan, Director General of Dubai Municipality, said that the sums that would be distributed to the beneficiaries would be paid against buildings constructed on those plots which were taken by the municipality, reported WAM.
