An Indian driver and his Sri Lankan lover have committed suicide together in Bahrain by hanging themselves from the same ceiling fan, reported the Gulf Daily.
Mohammed Sali and Santha Kumari, both aged 23, had been working in adjacent houses in East Riffa area, said the paper.
They used the same rope to hang themselves in Sali’s room, sources said.
They added that Sali had been working as a driver for a Bahraini family for 11 months, while Kumari was working as a housemaid with another Bahraini family living in the next compound.
Reasons for ending their lives are still not known, said the paper, adding that an investigation is underway – Albawaba.com
