Palestinian President, Yasser Arafat, received a letter Saturday from Indian Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee, in which the latter reiterates India’s full support to the “Palestinian people, leadership and just cause.”
According to the WAFA, the letter was delivered to Arafat by the Indian Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Bureau during his visit to Ramallah, accompanied by the Indian representative to the Palestinian Authority. President Arafat gave them a briefing regarding latest regional developments. In addition, the Palestinian leader discussed with them international efforts to revive the peace process.
