India exit polls 2009: Nationals abroad to wait like others to May 16

The huge community of Indians in the oil rich Gulf states is waiting for the exit polls of the crucial general India elections 2009 back in their homeland. On May 13, the final phase of the election took place. All in all, vote conducted today on 9 states & Union territories as well as 86 parliamentary constituencies.
 
According to an official statement, counting will be held on Saturday the 16th of May, 2009 and is planned to be finished on the same day.

According to the Indian law, nationals who are working or studying outside India are not entitled to participate in the vote.
