I2 sponsors Jordan Speed Center’s Telecommunications League
I2 the largest and most diverse mobile phone provider in the Middle East and Africa sponsored Jordan Speed Center’s Telecommunications League which was held on the 30th of March 2008.
This event was marked by the participation of Jordan’s leading telecommunication companies, where teams went through a process of warm- up and qualification for the final race which lasted for two hours.
Contestants energetically raced the Jordan Seed Center track, where Umniah achieved the championship title wining first place. Moreover, Zian’s two teams won the second and third places
Commenting on this initiative, Qais Abu Khader, i2’s Marketing Manger said” We are pleased to be sponsoring this exciting league, which comes in line with i2’s ultimate objective of supporting and endorsing sports and youth schemes in Jordan and abroad, especially that i2 is the sole local reseller for the formula I Bahrain race tickets.”
This one-day event – which ended by crowning Umniah as the championship winner- featured fun activities held in collaboration with Sawt Al Ghad FM Station, which broadcasted live from the venue and held ongoing competitions for teams and attendees where i2 presented a number of latest and most advanced Nokia handsets for winners.

The Jordan Speed Center track was creatively branded with i2 logo including the Start and Finish lines, the Arches on the track, podiums, and furthermore the trophies.
The event was concluded by presenting a “thank you” trophy by Jordan Speed Center Management to i2 in appreciation of this remarkable collaboration and sponsorship
