Abu Ubaida, the spokesperson for the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, addressed the world on the recent missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport, he said:
"Our fighters managed to reach an area near Ashkelon. Our fighters succeeded in capturing a new group of enemy prisoners and bringing them to Gaza. The enemy killed several of its soldiers after our fighters captured them. Our fighters have reached an area close to Ashkelon. Our fighters have brought a new group of enemy prisoners to the Gaza Strip."
Abu Ubaida expressed that Al-Qassam Brigades launched a significant missile attack involving approximately 100 rockets targeting Ben Gurion Airport. This action was taken in response to ongoing hostilities and the deliberate targeting of civilian homes.
