ALBAWABA - Three people were slightly injured after a missile was fired from Yemen targeting Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv on Sunday morning, Israeli media confirmed.
Magen David Adom posted on X account that Israeli medics and paramedics are providing treatment and referring to the hospitals three people: a 50-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman who were mildly injured, in addition to another 32-year-old woman who was wounded on the way to the shelter.
Israel's The Jerusalem Post mentioned that a Houthi missile crashed in the area of Ben-Gurion Airport's Terminal 3 on Sunday morning after the Israeli defense forces failed to intercept it.
Siren sounds were heard after the missile from Yemen, the IDF revealed on Sunday morning. The army attempted several times to intercept the missile, but failed, and it fell in the area of Ben Gurion Airport.
Despite that, some reports said the missile by Houthis was destroyed over the airport, however, the Army Radio said it was not intercepted.
Nonetheless, the authorities at the Ben Gurion Airport suspended operations at the airport, with no departures or arrivals to take place.
