ALBAWABA - Israeli media reported that a missile was fired by Houthis in Yemen targeting Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv on Sunday morning.

The Israeli army attempted several times to destroy the missile before it entered Israeli territory, however, they failed, and the missile was destroyed over the airport, according to The Jerusalem Post. Reports mentioned that shrapnel fell in central Israel.

Videos were shared on social media showing a black smoke rising into the sky and believed to be following the missile from Yemen.

Magen David Adom posted on X (formerly Twitter) about the missile from Yemen and wrote: "Following the alarms that were heard in the last few minutes, at this stage, no reports of casualties have been received. MDA teams went out to search the area where a suspected shrapnel was reported."
