ALBAWABA - Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the head of Yemen's Houthi movement, has said that the group would continue to strike Israel, and that the scope of next operations is anticipated to exceed that of the most recent ones. After Israel was hit by missiles, his words were shown on Al-Masirah TV, which is associated with the Houthis.
Al-Houthi said that a missile used in the most recent attack passed sophisticated Israeli defensive systems and went 2,040 kilometers. He underlined that Israel's attacks would go on as long as it maintains its military embargo and activities against Gaza. In addition, he mentioned the continued cooperation between various organizations along the "axis of resistance," implying even more extensive acts down the road.
The latest attack on Israel was carried out with a new hypersonic ballistic missile, according to Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree, who made the announcement on the X platform (previously Twitter).
Later, the Israeli military verified that a missile fired from Yemen had touched down in an open region in the country's center, setting off many alarms.
In the meanwhile, Hamas said that it was in favor of the Houthi strike and called it a "natural response" to Israel's invasion. Hamas underlined that as long as Israel keeps up its military actions in Gaza, it would never feel safe. Additionally, the movement emphasized that the resistance movements in Yemen, Lebanon, and Iraq stand for the right of states to protect themselves against Israeli occupation and its sway over Palestine and the Arab Peninsula.
