Hit the right notes at Deira City Centre’s Music Appreciation Exhibition
After the fun-filled ‘Dance Heads’ activity, Deira City Centre, a member of DSS 2008 key sponsor MAF Shopping Malls, continues its focus on music but this time around it is all about producing tuneful melodies in a colourful and hands-on display of musical instruments.
From July 10, a large, interactive stage will be installed at the Centre of the mall to allow visitors to experience the wonder of music. Featuring an over-sized piano, interactive musical wall and giant panpipes, this unique set-up will give children all the encouragement they need to push their boundaries and explore their creative talents.
The interactive musical wall, for example, will bring colour and music to life at the touch of a hand on the graphical representations of musical instruments, while the giant piano will offer children an opportunity to test their foot work and musical skills by hopping from the black keys to the white keys or simply taking a run and sliding down the full musical scale.
Practice your skills at the Music Appreciation Exhibition until July 23 from 10am to 10pm on weekdays and 10am to 11pm on weekends.
