ALBAWABA - Early on Saturday morning, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a series of missile assaults that were allegedly directed at the Israeli military intelligence facility at Glilot, which is close to Tel Aviv. 

Hezbollah's statement claims that the strike on the Glilot facility, which is connected to Israel's Unit 8200, took place at about 2:30 AM and featured a "high-precision rocket barrage."

Hezbollah reportedly reported further rocket assaults on the northern Israeli communities of Yesod HaMa'ala and Bar Yohai on Saturday morning, as well as more strikes on the community of Birya north of Safed.

The level of hostilities has significantly increased during the last 24 hours. districts in southern Lebanon have been frequently targeted by Israeli airstrikes, with a particular emphasis on Baalbek and the Bekaa Valley's neighboring districts. According to reports, several rounds of intense, simultaneous bombings hit around 20 communities.

As of as today, 57 people have died and several more have been wounded. Whole families whose houses were targeted in these strikes are among the dead. Israel increased the scope of its operations overnight, bombing the Al-Qaa crossing in northern Lebanon as well as other border crossings between Syria and Lebanon.

The airstrikes continued in southern Lebanon, striking a number of communities, including Tibnin, where two people were killed. Israeli attacks also occurred throughout the night and early morning on Bint Jbeil, which is located in the central area.

Toul, Al-Shuhabiya, Yaroun, Sarbin, Maroun al-Ras, and Haris were among the towns farther south that were hit by Israeli fighter planes.
