ALBAWABA- Hezbollah fighters launched a drone assault on the Mount Neria base, a key Phalange leadership headquarters currently occupied by Golani forces. The strike on the base resulted in confirmed casualties among officers and soldiers.
This attack is seen as a direct response to recent Israeli aggression against Gaza and southern Lebanese villages, including the assassination in Mays al-Jabal cemetery.
In response to the drone strike, Israeli media reported sirens sounding around Mount Meron, Jish, and Kerem Ben Zamra in the Upper Galilee due to fears of further drone infiltration from Lebanon.
Israeli Channel 12 confirmed that four drones were launched from Lebanon; one was intercepted, while three exploded in the Jabal al-Jarmaq area, causing no casualties.
However, the Israeli Army reported the killing of Ali Jawad, the commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force, during a raid on Abba in the Nabatieh district of southern Lebanon.
The Israeli Army stated that the elimination of Jawad is expected to impact Hezbollah's ability to conduct operations in northern Israel.
Additionally, the Israeli Air Force targeted a military building and Hezbollah infrastructure in the town of Kafr Kila.
