ALBAWABA - In retaliation for the series of attacks on Beirut, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a strike targeting the complex of the Rafael Company, which specializes in electronic equipment.
Hezbollah said it launched dozens of Fadi 1 and Fadi 2 missiles, as well as Katyusha rockets, against the facility north in Haifa, Israel.
It characterized the assault as "an initial response to the brutal massacre committed by the Israeli enemy in various Lebanese regions on Tuesday and Wednesday".
The Israeli military says firemen are attempting to extinguish multiple flames near Haifa after some of Hezbollah's 85 missiles landed. According to The Times of Israel, three individuals were injured and property was damaged when missiles hit Kiryat Bialik, near Haifa.
In a post on X, Magen David Adom announced treating 4 injuries on the scene as a result of shrapnel from the strikes.
Army Radio and Israeli official broadcasting service KAN stated that Hezbollah hit the Ramat David base in Haifa for the first time since Israel launched its latest brutal aggression on Gaza.
Hezbollah confirmed this, claiming that it bombed the Ramat David base and airport in reaction to Israel Air Force raids in Beirut that killed several of its top leaders.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, wireless communication devices linked to Hezbollah detonated across Lebanon, injuring hundreds and killing dozens, including civilians. Lebanon blamed the unusual strike on Israel.
The Lebanese group stated it would continue to attack Israeli positions in the north of the nation until Israel finishes its Gaza offensive. The violence has displaced tens of thousands of people on both sides of the border.
The two sides look to be on an escalating path, threatening a big war. Hezbollah has stated that it is not seeking an all-out war, but it is prepared for one if it occurs.
