ALBAWABA - Hezbollah conducted numerous missile assaults against Israel today, striking West Bank communities. This follows the strongest Israeli bombing on Lebanon since October 8, 2023.

Rockets hit the Golan Heights, Galilee, Haifa, Acre, and West Bank villages near Salfit, east of Qalqilya, and south of Nablus. Israeli media reported burning near an Israeli military facility in Salfit, while Palestinian and Israeli media reported the assaults. Palestine platforms showed Lebanon-fired rockets striking villages and nearby areas in the northeastern West Bank.

Israeli alarms were activated in Greater Tel Aviv, Ben Gurion Airport, the Jezreel Valley, and the West Bank.

Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the strikes, saying they launched hundreds of rockets against critical Israeli installations such Ramat David Airbase, the Northern Command headquarters at Ein Zeitim, and military manufacturing complexes in Zevulun, north of Haifa. Major Nimra base storage facilities were also allegedly attacked.

Israeli officials recorded 165 Lebanon rocket launches by lunchtime. Yedioth Ahronoth reported the heaviest assaults since the war started.

The Times of Israel reported that Hezbollah fired long-range missiles for the first time since the conflict. Strikes harmed many Israeli citizens in Galilee. Israeli firefighters were putting out rocket-caused flames in Netofa, Lower Galilee.

The strikes raised Israeli military attention, notably in its air force and defensive systems. Home front instructions for Haifa to northern Israel were extended until Wednesday, according to Army Radio.
