Hamed bin Zayed Chairs Executive Committee Meeting

The Executive Committee, chaired by H.H Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, held a meeting today, Wednesday September 9th, 2009 at the Crown Prince's Court. The Committee approved two memoranda presented by the Department of Municipal Affairs with regards to the Safran Forest Belt project which will wrap 40,000 trees around the Safran Forest. The second memorandum was about constructing a second camel racecourse at Ghayathi city in the Western Region.
During the meeting, the Executive Committee also reviewed developments on Al Salam street project.
Also approved was a memorandum presented by the Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority regarding the construction of three branches to serve consumers at Khalifa A, Al Rahba and Musaffah.
The Executive Committee also discussed a number of important topics and memoranda presented by the emirate's government departments listed on its agenda and related to the implementation of plans and projects.
